Sombre Scrubs, amazing artist

I was watching a particularly emotional episode of the usually upbeat US comedy ‘Scrubs,’ where a sombre song was played at the end of the episode after one of the character’s friends died. I was impressed by the episode and the song and searched a Scrubs-related Internet forum to find out more about the song (including who sang it). I found a link to the MP3 file of the unsigned artist’s song and downloaded it. From then on, I ‘kept tabs’ on the new artist and, when he eventually released an album, bought a copy. The artist has become one of my favourites and, as the album was a limited edition, it became worth quite a lot of money!
