SERENA PROJECT MEETING 4

27th – 29th June, 2011, Heriot Watt University
The team came together for a full two days of workshop activities to focus the vision, scenarios and personas and developments for the SerenA system.

Advisors Present:
Clive Gillman Director DCA,
Derek McCauley. Prof Digital Economy Nottingham, RCUK Designing Effective Research Spaces Mentor.

Invited workshop sessions:
Hazel White and Fraser Bruce ‘Rip and Mix’.
A design method developed by Hazel and Fraser with Dr Rosan Chow at  t-labs, Deutsche Telekom, Berlin to generate new designs for Information and Communication Products and Services.

Prof Tom Inns ‘Visions of SerenA’

The team had prepared work exploring their personal spectrum of  ‘I Need…’ in the context of SerenA. The team sorted and created the ‘Drivers for Serena’ to inform developments. We then worked ‘Why and How’ and aligned our needs, drivers and pathways for development.

The team selected a narrative, scenario or vision from previous day and expanded and applied worksheets for ‘SerenA Values’.
