From bar work to travel photography

When I was a kid I have always dreamed of traveling the world as a photographer taking beautiful pictures all over the world. I even made a statement to my mother when I was 17. I wish I took photographs it only once even if it was the last thing I do. I just wanted to travel for a while.

Jumping years later (10 to be more specific) I was writing my CV for a cruise line company where I applied for a bar staff position. But my friend who helped me work on my CV asked me if I wanted to add anything. I said ‘sure, let’s put photography as a hobby’ (even though it was only a dream rather than an actual hobby).

I still remember my childish happiness and tears when I came out from that interview as they gave me a job as a photographer! And I am I am still traveling and taking pictures around the world!

I have tons of stories like this. My life simply works that way. I trust my gut and I just do it! I am very thankful for that ability that I have been given. But I’m also 100% sure that we all have it – you just need to go for it!
